a street shaman with a shocking touch. . .
a struggling rockstar with a killer keyboard . . .
and a bikie wheelman with a murderbot . . .
Through various channels, these three strangers were contracted to do a low-paying job with the promise of a contact for future (hopefully better paying) work.
The client was George Hampton, a Barrens street shaman being pressured by the Fratellis, a mafia family running an extortion/protection racket out in the Sydney Barrens. They had his daughter Moxy; he wanted her back, and the Fratellis off his back . . . preferably permanently.
The group was directed to a McHugh’s franchise restaurant the Fratellis were using as a front, working as staff. After a brush with sudden gastroenteritis and a botched drone surveillance sweep. The team stormed the restaurant before a hostage execution ensued.
Flash Fried Fratelli, Security Guard Sandwich and 97% Jaw-Free Mafioso were the menu items of the day. The group ended up killing five members of the Fratelli family, including boss Vic.
With graffiti evidence and a mysterious twitchy patron promising to pin the deed on the Ork MRA biker gang the Dirty Dad Cult, the runners found Moxy and reunited mother and father.
Before they parted ways, a mysterious call from a woman named Glamrock congratulated them on their work and offered to provide them with her services as the thing every runner needs to make it in the shadows . . .
